The SQM 242 card is a very flexible thin film monitor building module which can be upgraded to a full blown system process controller. Infact the Moorfield MiniLab deposition system uses this card at the heart of its process controller.

By interfacing the card with a PLC through the serial port of the controlling PC, and with the addition of the SQS242 Windows based software, the user can control and customise complicated processes and with a little familiarity even on the fly.

In its basic form the card can be used as a monitor ( up to 4 sensors) with the software provided.
